Drive Baby Drive, Vol. 6: Cover Me Again!

More awesome covers in the drive series. Big favs in Badlands' "Fire and Rain," The Five Stairsteps' "Dear Prudence," Van Atta High's "Afternoon Delight" and Wee Willie Walker's "Ticket to Ride." And, during my youth when I needed a shot of adrenalin, I'd listen to the intro of Frijid Pink's "House of the Rising Sun." 16 tracks in all. Enjoy!

Hoy! Hoy! 20 Goodie Oldies 1954-65

20 (mostly) deep cuts from the oldies canon. Too many favorites. Several doo-wops including The Cardinals' "Come Back My Love," The Keynotes' "Bye Bye Baby," and The Solitaires' "What Did She Say." And then there's Young Jessie's "Hit, Git and Split," a big fav, and so is Laurie London's "She Sells Sea Shells." They're all good. Enjoy!

Drive Baby Drive, Vol. 5: Hard Rockin' Unsung 70s!

Good 'ol rockin' rock hard seventies. A few non-album cuts, and lots of deep tracks. And a quick note regarding the last track: Sweet's "Fox on the Run" is the original UK album version, as opposed to the more known radio-friendly North American cut (synth intro and the echo-laden verse of, "I (I-I-I-I-I-I-I...) don't wanna know your name..."

Too many favs to list. Heavy Metal Kids' "Squalliday Inn" is a big, big BIG fav. Grand Funk Railroad's "Black Licorice" has to be one of their best unsung tracks. The Headboys' "The Shape of Things to Come" is another big fav. Cargo's "Finding Out" is wait for it, another big big BIG fav. I'm more impressed by the percussionist than the actual tune lol. All great tunes. Enjoy!
