Back to the FUNK! ... Uh-huh, Uh-huh

 Funk's the Way, uh-huh uh-huh, I Like It!

I've put together a great funky compilation. Other than a couple of tracks, the rest are from the 60s and 70s. I've also submitted it to Butterboy's next compilation series. Enjoy!

Awesome Downtime 11 - More and More

Awesome Downtime 11: Pursue the Wind

I don't think I could make just one comp of definite favs. Every single volume is full of favs. Enjoy!

Awesome Non-Hits from the 70s! Part 2

Awesome Non-Hits from the 70s! Part II

The second in the series (Part I Here). Continuing... I've come across so many tracks that could, would and should have been singles, or at least on a greatest hits compilation. And that's what we have here - a collection of could've, would've, and should've been hits. I may have stretched a few tracks thinking they'd be worthwhile but I still love 'em. Enjoy!

Awesome Non-Hits from the 70s! Part I

NOTE: Revised Edition!

I loved playing record producer growing up. Wait, I still love playing it! I've come across so many tracks that could, would and should have been singles, or at least on a greatest hits compilation. And that's what we have here - a collection of could've, would've, and should've been hits.

Favorites? All of 'em. Seriously, but if I had to pick only 4 out of the 16, hmm, Boston's "Hitch a Ride." It's still my favorite by the band. Blue Öyster Cult's "The Great Sun Jester" is another biggie. Druid's "Razor Truth" is sooo good. And Canada's own Prism with "Mirror Man" is another worthy track. Enjoy!

22 More Awesome Oldies (1952-1965)

Tickle Me More Baby! 22 Tracks of Awesome Oldies 1952-1965

I got a bit lazy on the title for this one. I borrowed from one of my other comps (You Tickle Me Baby! 20 Tracks of Awesome Oldies 1951-1964). Nonetheless, the music is oh so good. Enjoy!

Rare 70s Melodic Prog and the Like

A Date for Rare 70s Melodic Prog and the Like

The genre tag in title is a bit of a misnomer. There is prog amongst the comp but several are not. However, the bands for the latter are normally progressive driven. I know, blah, blah, blah, but the tracks are melodic, and the prog leans more on the softer side. It doesn't matter, as long as it's good. Enjoy!

Note: Track #12 would have made great AM (or FM) radio fodder.
