And here we are, ten volumes later... 20 rare ditties from '56 to '65. My favs are Jane Baker's "Boom-De-De-Boom," Little Jerry Williams' "Let's Do the Wobble," and Lillian Vines' "I Dreamed About My Baby Last Night." imo, all these tracks (not the artists) are rare. I know I've heard "Dangerous Lips" before, but not by The Drivers (their version on this set). Enjoy!
Love these

DeleteNot the right place to comment about it, but your Canadian comps saved me the other day. I had a group of Canadian rockers and I whipped out Max Webster and Pat Travers and looked like I knew everything about Canadian bands. Thanks for making me look good!
ReplyDeleteha, no problem. I'm probably repeating myself again but Max Webster has been my favorite Canadian band for years. It's too bad they didn't get the breaks like Rush.
DeleteDoes Max Webster have a greatest hits compilation out? I do like what you've presented. Another band I have heard tracks from and I like is Harlequin.
DeleteThey have two or three comps but of course, I think all their tracks are worthy considerations for greatest hits. I'll do up another Canadian mix soon with some key favs.
