The fifth volume, and my favorite so far. Big, big fav in Amphibian Man's "Surfing with Sea Devil on the Board." Love it! Surfaholics' "Toxic Beach" is another big fav. The Atomics' "Zombie vs Ninja" mixes swingin' alt-country with surf, and it works. The Aqua Velvets' "Shrunken Head" is a mix of reggae/ska with surf, and it too works.
20 tracks in all. They're all good. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteThank you for pointing it out. I didn't know they were down. I'll eventually have most (or all) the files on proton, for a lot of hosts can be unreliable. I may no longer have the files for 1 & 5 but that's okay because the mixes (and several others) need to be revised (better rips, etc). I'll try to work on them before Halloween and have them up.

Also, because of your interest, I may do more surf rock mixes this Halloween (but don't hold me to it, lol). There's an incredible wealth of good to great modern surf rock music out there just waiting to be heard.
