Hey folks, sorry for the long delay... and what did I come back with but a Halloween mix?!? A special mix with an explanation...
- The file contains separate tracks as usual, plus the main all-in-one mix. The main mix is the first track. It has all the bells & whistles (aka incidental cues, scores, narratives, silliness, etc), unlike the separate tracks. The latter was done to appease the folks who prefer separate tracks as opposed to the original intended mix. You can call it best of both worlds 😀
- The last track/sound effect "The Most Terrifying Sound You've Ever Heard" (it's about 10 minutes long) is on the complete mix only, and not a separate track (I guess you don't get the complete best of both worlds after all 😀). While listening to TMTSYEH, you may want to turn the volume down during playback. It's not like your typical haunted house track but more of constant white noise with whistles, screaming, etc, that increases in volume. If you want to scare the crap out of someone, it may work.
- All music from 50s & 60s, except one theme from the 70s. I may have added a partial theme/score from the 80s but don't recall. You'll have to listen to the complete mix to find out.
- Favorite tracks? All of 'em. Seriously, they need to be all good, but here's three - Alma Cogan's velvety "Mystery Street," Evans Carroll & The Tempos' "The Monster," and Don Hinson & The Rigamorticians' "Home in Castle East." Enjoy!
NOTE: The correct cat# is SPM-H10. The cover in file has the wrong cat#. You can delete it, and just copy the cover (with correct #) from this post.
Hey thanks for the 'Spooktember' release! Have a Halloween Party where I'm DJing the scary choons for the neighbors.. Love the song picks.. Thank Goul!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome! Enjoy the night of DJing. Sounds fun!
DeleteThanks George... love the Halloween stuff. Good work!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Scott! I'll have a third SpookySeptober mix up later in the day.
DeleteI do have a question for you. I've downloaded all of your Halloween comps (to my knowledge) and I seem to be missing SPM-H09. Is there an H09 and if so, where can I find the download link?
DeleteDisregard... I found the Vic Mizzy link. Guess I just overlooked it.
DeleteThe cat. system for the Halloween mixes are a bit out of whack. To make a very long explanation short -- all Halloween mixes and series follow the same sequence, regardless for new series or not.
DeleteAnd Scott - I'll eventually revise the earlier Halloween mixes (I think I've done just one). Thanks again!
DeleteThank you for all the music. great site
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome William!
DeleteThanks George!
